In the wake of their triumphant headline slot at this year’s High Voltage Festival, progressive rock overlords, DREAM THEATER have announced their ‘A Dramatic Tour Of Events’ UK tour for early 2012.

Guitarist John Petrucci is looking forward to the run, commenting “I couldn’t be more excited about our upcoming winter 2012 European tour.  It was great getting our feet wet this past summer with our new drummer Mike Mangini during the open air festival season, but now it’s time for the real deal!    “A Dramatic Tour Of Events” promises to be our best ever, as we’ll present a broad coverage of songs from the new album along with a healthy dose of older material as well.  Our newly expanded light and video show as well as our awesome opening band, Periphery will make this a truly special and memorable tour.  Can’t wait to see and play for all of our amazing European fans!”   Dates rack up as follows:
