After much time spent honing and perfecting, The Sound of Arrows’ incredible, grand pop debut album ‘Voyage’ has been released this week to fantastic reviews. To celebrate it’s unveiling, the duo of musician Stefan Storm and film-maker Oskar Gullstrand have also uploaded another of their now trademark breathtaking self-made videos.

With the movie for their last single ‘Magic’ now having notched up around 1.5 million views, the new clip accompanies latest single ’ Wonders’ and takes on a more retro feel, whilst maintaining the band’s penchant for all things celestial and epic.

The Sound of Arrows will also be playing a FREE ENTRY album launch show at London’s 93ft East this FridayNovember 11^thas well as on November 16^th at Cargo.

Entitled ’Voyage’, the 11-track LP is a complete, enveloping experience, charting a topography of desire, solitude, loneliness, friendship, love, romance, hope and escape, using familiar emotional minutiae for its landmarks and re-imagining them as cosmic adventures.

The Sound of Arrows have not just created the sonics of a grand emotive film, they have also created a visual world to go alongside it. They are the full audio-visual package: they work on directing, editing and do the post-production for their remarkable videos and all of their artwork, too. (Perfectionism doesn’t even begin to cover it.)

“To us The Sound of Arrows is 50% audio 50% visual”explains Stefan. “We’ve constructed our album more like a pop-soundtrack to an imaginary film than just a normal pop album. It starts and ends with the same theme and the last song ‘Lost City’ is the end-titles, over which the credits for the film roll. “

And that’s exactly why this record is worth the wait: music deserves context; it demands to be experienced withthe eyes, ears and heart.
