HEADLINE TOUR DATES IN THE UK, EUROPE & JAPAN….
NEW SINGLE FOR FEBRUARY 20th 2012 VIA SPINEFARM RECORDS,
SUPPORTED BY PREVIOULY UNRELEASED BONUS MATERIAL
THE ANSWER have confirmed the release of a brand new single / video for February 20th; titled ‘Nowhere Freeway’ and taken from the quartet’s latest / third studio album, ‘Revival’, the song – a duet with Saint Jude vocalist Lynne Jackaman – is the follow up to the ‘Vida (I Want You)’ single, and will be available as a three-track digital download.
The full track-listing will be:-
1) Nowhere Freeway (feat. Lynne Jackaman)
2) Battlecry (a previously unreleased studio recording, originally put to tape during the ‘Revival’ sessions in the US but only recently finished off)
3) Nowhere Freeway (live acoustic – iTunes bonus track )
Tracks 1 + 2 are produced by Chris ‘Frenchie’ Smith and mixed by Chris Sheldon.
The Answer have filmed a video for ‘Nowhere Freeway’, with Lynne Jackaman taking a guest role.
ON THE live front, the band recently completed a run of dates in Europe Special Guesting with Whitesnake, and they will shortly be departing for a series of European headline shows, which will see them visiting Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands & Greece.
After this, they fly to Japan for a headline appearance in Tokyo, before heading out on a full tour of the UK & Ireland alongside The Union, with The Answerclosing all of the shows; these are as follows:-
