THE DRUMS – VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE ‘DAYS’
Released on February 27th, ‘Days’ is the third single to be taken from The Drums’ second album ‘Portamento’. A stand out track for its sparse thorny guitar, foreboding harmonies and crest-fallen sentiment, the track perfectly showcases The Drums’ knack for making the melancholy feel so alluring and cathartic. The single also includes previously unreleased b-side “I Don’t Want to Go Alone.”
The accompanying video was produced by Roberts Stage Co. Frontman Jonny Pierce explains: “The song is about that moment when you realize that you are someone different from what you once were. Different needs, different desires. Different hopes and fears. We were lucky enough to have a special guest in our video who is a dear friend and a radiant symbol of being true to who you know you are and moving away from a dark past.”
