Ahead of this summer’s Olympic Games in London, Scissor Sisterswill be playing BT River of Music event, playing one of the many free shows at landmarks along the River Thames to welcome the world to London! Taking place the weekend before the opening ceremony, Scissor Sisters will be headlining the Americas stage on Saturday 21st July, situated at the historic Tower of London.
Following the announcement of new single‘Only The Horses’, which was written by Scissor Sisters and co-produced byCalvin Harris, Scissor Sisters have had the track remixed by respected French producer and DJ Brodinski, who has previously remixed tracks for Klaxons and Justice. ‘Only The Horses’ will be released on May 13th.

Scissor Sisters release their fourth album ‘Magic Hour’ on May 28th through Polydor. The album is the result of a series of team-ups between Scissor Sisters – Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic & Del Marquis – and a whole host of stellar artists, writers and producers, including Azealia Banks, Calvin Harris, Stuart Price, Pharrell Williams, Diplo and Alex Ridha, the German electronic music producer and DJ behind BoysNoize.

Scissor Sisters will perform at The Bowery Ballroom on May 6th and Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 16th and 17th May. Tickets for the BT River of Music event will be made available weekly fromTuesday 15th May. Tickets are free but you must be registered to be in with a chance.
