ABOUT US//
Noise Addiction started up as a small webzine in October 2008 to help underground bands become more well known, by reviewing their live shows and CDs. It was built by one person (Emma – Editor) that has a huge passion for live music and photography, after taking on our first reviewer just as we opened it then expanded as more local photographers and reviewers wanted to become involved.
Only a few months after opening we’d interviewed and reviewed such bands as Attack! Attack!, Doll and The Kicks, Lordi, One Night Only, You Me At Six, The Blackout and so much more.
The begining of 2009 we wanted to expand, so (Emma -Editor) and (Simon – Co-Editor) comtemplated for months on building an online magazine. It soon became serious when we actually put the first Issue together and released it end of April 2009 which went down really well with fans, bands, record labels etc.
Update May 2010: It is with great regret that we had to pull the plug on our free online magazine and have resorted back to posting live reviews etc through our website to keep costs down. Noise Addiction will remain a webzine for now.
Update July 2011: As some of you regular readers of Noise Addiction will know we shut the zine down in January 2011 with hopes to return again in the future. Well it’s taken us half a year to decide to bring Noise Addiction back to the web so hope you’re as excited as we are to be doing this all again.
