NEW: Presenting Categorie

Ourselves at Noise Addiction and our readers always want to hear about new bands so we’ve come up with a new categorie to promote the unsigned – upcoming bands out there that want to be heard by open minded people like us. We’ve called it PRESENTING.. and now wish to hear from as many bands as possible to promote YOUR music and for fans like us and our readers to hear new music and check out new bands across the UK.

All you have to do to get your band on PRESENTING is send us a press shot or live photo with your bio and any other information you wish to add to noiseaddictionzine@gmail.com. We’ll pop you straight onto our zine!

Seeking writers and photographers

SEEKING RELIABLE WRITERS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS

We at Noise Addiction music zine are always on the look out for the most dedicated writers and photographers in music. Whether you have a passion for reviewing cds, gigs or interviewing bands we want to hear from you. Photographers if you have a passion for shooting live bands we want to hear from you to. We prefer people with experience as we like to provide high quality reviews/photos for the bands we cover. Take a look below at the requirements and see if you comply with what we’re after:

WRITERS:

- Passion and knowledge in music
- Comfortable writing and listening to a range of genres
- Ability to comply with set deadlines (written review to be sent in within a week of receiving the music)
- Past experience (not a neccessity but definitely preferred)

PHOTOGRAPHERS:

- Own a DSLR camera
- A portfolio of both recent and older work to show
- Past experience with live music photography

If you’re a photographer and can write a good review to go with your photos then you’ll be considered a favourite due to labels having limited space on guestlists it’s a lot easier to request gigs for just one person.

Noise Addiction is back after hiatus.

Once a very popular online magazine Noise Addiction called it a day in January 2011. After what seems like a short hiatus we’re back with a brand new look!

As we need to build things back up with our reviews and interviews you’ll find the odd old review still on here for a good read.

If you’re in a band, work at a record label and so on we’d love to hear from you whether you’re after a CD review, live review or interview. We’re always willing to help and love hearing new music and watching young bands grow.

Here’s to 2011!
