Lucius, aka Luke Morgan, a singer / songwriter based in Swansea, releases his new single “Enemy” on Greater London Records.

The track, which was produced and recorded by Chris Maguire at Screamadelica Studio’s in Cardiff, sees Lucius combine his melodic mix of driving guitars, gutsy lyrics, loops, sounds and beats to produce an extraordinary sound and contagious combination.

Lucius has worked with a variety of producers including Dan Swift (Placebo, Snow Patrol, Feeder), Phil Brown (The Rolling Stones, Faithless), Joe Gibb (Funeral for a Friend, Catatonia, Jane’s Addiction) and he has also shared the stage with highly acclaimed artists such as Paul Roberts (Stranglers), Jarcrew, Kids in Glass Houses, Skindred plus he supported Funeral for a Friend at the much respected Patti Pavilion venue, Swansea.

No stranger on the live circuit too, Lucius has performed the length and breadth of the UK at top venues such as London’s The Borderline, Liverpool’s The Cavern and at Manchester’s In The City.

Having already garnered support from BBC R1’s Huw Stephens, BBC Wales Adam Walton and being artist of the week on Total Rock Radio along with numerous airplay on national, local and internet radio, including topping the internet radio charts with various #1 positions, he has also previously recorded a session for BBCR1’s Introducing Show with Huw Stephens and Bethan Elfyn.

After recently returning to the studio to record new solo material, Lucius has emerged with an arsenal of tunes with “Enemy” leading the way forward for this raw and honest musician, who is intent on taking the music out of his head and into the real world.

Lucius thrives on a challenge. Sometimes enigmatic, sometimes straightforward…but never predictable!
