BLACKLISTERS – I CAN CONFIRM

Blacklisters are yet another great contribution to the Leeds thriving rock scene, which includes the likes of Hawk Eyes and Pulled Apart By Horses. Having already played Reading and Leeds Festivals, and with a debut record set for release next year, it would be no surprise if these guys became your favourite new band, if this new single “I Can Confirm” is anything to go by.
The first sense that hits you is a strong post-hardcore vibe, and within four minutes, we can already hear hints of Glassjaw, Deftones and The Jesus Lizard, all melded into one face melting track. This is mind-bending rock that is guaranteed to captivate a live audience.
Hearing this just creates more anticipation for the arrival of their debut and in an ideal world, 2012 should be all about these guys. But for now, just listen to this.
