Return with new single ‘Jennifer’ out May 28th

Following their acclaimed ‘Worry’ EP released in December, Little Comets are set to return to the fold with vibrant new single ‘Jennifer’, released onMay 28th through Dirty Hit Records.

Intricately weaving trademark afro-beat rhythms, spikey indie guitars and heartfelt melodic vocals, ‘Jennifer‘ exudes the feeling of upbeat summer euphoria and looks set to be a sure-fire festival favourite. As lead singer Robert Coles delivers his frustrated plea to a lover, you are transported into streaming sunshine and time spent with friends. ‘Jennifer’ sees Little Comets’ at their fizzing, catchy and exuberant best.

This April, Little Comets will be blazing a trail across the UK. Kicking off their tour in Glasgow on April 21st, they will then visit Manchester, Leeds andBirmingham before stopping off at The Scala in London and finishing with shows in Norwich and Brighton. Full tour dates below.

This July will see the band perform their biggest show to date in The Olympic Torch Relay celebrations at Hyde Park, thanks to Presenting Partner Coca Cola on July 26th. Sharing the bill with Dizzee Rascal, Friendly Fires and You Me At Six this will be one of the biggest shows of the year and just a day before the opening ceremony of the Olympics itself and will also headline the north east leg of the Olympic Torch relay tour.

Robert, Michael and Matt found each other in inauspicious circumstances in a small greengrocers in Newcastle. They then went on to join and then fall out with a rather large record label before releasing their debut album ‘In Search of the Elusive Little Comets’ which found success in the independent charts. Since then they have been touring and performing to sold out crowds across the country.

Even if the weather stays grey this summer – Little Comets will always bring the sunshine!

BOUNCING SOULS
SIGN TO RISE RECORDS
NEW ALBUM ‘COMET’ OUT 11th JUNE 2012

Rise Records and Chunksaah Records are proud to announce the co-release of the new BOUNCING SOULS album entitled “Comet”. Set to hit stores on 11th June 2012, it’s the Souls 9th proper full-length album. Having been a band since 1989, the Souls gained legacy status years ago. ”Comet” was produced by Bill Stevenson at the Blasting Room (Rise Against, Hot Water Music, Descendents). Arguably their best album to date, the 10 song recording is everything you’ll want and more. The band is prepping worldwide tour plans for 2012 including a hometown Bamboozle appearance (Asbury Park, NJ, May 20) with fellow Jersey heroes Bon Jovi, and US and Europe headline run this summer.

Having sold hundreds of thousands of CDs and records around the world, The Bouncing Souls have proved they’re here for the long haul. All of their success is organic and without a radio hit. Their diehard fan base of “True Believers” is rivalled by none…And they’ve built this fan base the honest way; touring and writing amazing songs.

Listen to their single “Static” here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEJVijAGCWg

Bouncing Souls appear at:

28th April Groezrock

2nd May Moho Live, Manchester

3rd May Anti-Fest 2012, The Forum Herts University

4th May Joiners, Southampton

Breton Announce Debut Headline UK Tour

Fresh from an incredible performance in front of 3000 people at Transmusicales Festival last weekend, multimedia mastermindsBreton announce their first UK headline shows. They will take place next March 2012 in support of their debut album ‘Other People’s Problems’, which will be released on Fat Cat Records. Dates are as follows:

28th March – Corsica Studios, London

29th March – Islington Mill, Manchester

30th March – Nation Of Shopkeepers, Leeds

To celebrate this announcement the band have made available ‘The Diamond Tiles Mix’ that will feature two unreleased Breton tracks –‘The Hague’ and ‘Harp’.

http://soundcloud.com/bretonlabs/the-diamond-tile-mix

Breton live is an intense, hypnotic experience as the band, shrouded in hoodies, perform to a backdrop of their self shot films and graphics – mixed in real time by their VJ in a synergy of sound, timing, rhythm and visuals. For this collective of film makers and musicians the mediums of visual and audio are utterly integrated and of equal importance.

This ideology will be highlighted when they perform at Videocrash at the Scala on 14th January 2012. This massive audio visual show will see Breton premier footage created specifically for the event by their cinematic wing BretonLABS, shown on the backdrop of a full cinema sized screen as they perform. The night will also feature the legendary production duo and AV masters Plaid and Holotronica, the latest project from the pioneering AV outfit Hexstatic.

Breton will return to France for a show at La Machine in Paris on 13th January 2012.
