HALESTORM ANNOUNCE AUTUMN HEADLINE UK TOUR;

SHOW WITH SLASH IN LONDON ON JUNE 6

Halestorm are thrilled to announce a UK headline tour for the Autumn in support of their chart-topping new album, “THE STRANGE CASE OF…” The new dates will follow a U.S. headline tour, high profile festival appearances (including the Download Festival on June 9), and a series of support slots alongside Avenged Sevenfold and Slash.

“THE STRANGE CASE OF…” is shaping up as Halestorm’s breakthrough release. The album just debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart, while also making a top 15 entry onto the overall Billboard 200. In its first week of sales in the UK, the album saw a 3000% uplift on their previous release’s first week.

Furthermore, the album’s electrifying first single, “Love Bites (So Do I),” is proving the Pennsylvania-based band’s fastest rising single thus far, having now ascended to the top 5 at Active Rock radio outlets nationwide across the USA. Other highlights of “THE STRANGE CASE OF…” include “Here’s To Us,” which shot to #1 on iTunes’ “Top Rock Songs” chart after being featured in the season three finale episode of Fox’s hit TV series, Glee.

Produced by Howard Benson, “THE STRANGE CASE OF…” has also drawn critical acclaim, with Billboard praising the collection as “full of chugging riffs, wailing solos, drums that kick like a boot to the gut, and never-out-of-style soft/loud dynamics that lead to massive choruses.” “Led by one of our favorite rocker babes, singer-guitarist Lzzy Hale, (Halestorm) promise a more personal album for their follow-up,” noted Revolver in its album preview. “But don’t expect them to get all sappy on us. There should still be more than enough of the band’s now signature raucous attitude and righteous riffs for any headbanger to get off.”

UK dates are as follows:

Wed 6th Jun – as main support to SLASH – LONDON Hammersmith Apollo

Sat 9th Jun – DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL

And then these HEADLINE SHOWS:

Fri 21st Sep – BIRMINGHAM O2 Academy 2

Sat 22nd Sep – NOTTINGHAM Rescue Rooms

Sun 23rd Sep – GLASGOW Cathouse

Mon 24th Sep – MANCHESTER Academy 3

Wed 26th Sep – NEWCASTLE O2 Academy 2

Thu 27th Sep – LEEDS Cockpit

Fri 28th Sep – LONDON Islington Academy

Sun 30th Sep – PORTSMOUTH Wedgewood Rooms

Mon 1st Oct – BRISTOL Fleece

Tickets are on sale now for £10 for all shows except Manchester (£11.50) and London (£13.50). All dates are aged 14+, excluding Bristol which is all ages.
