Roadrunner Records is delighted to welcome Pennsylvania-based hard rockers Halestorm to the family and announce the release of their brand new album!

Formed by frontwoman Lzzy Hale and her brother, drummer Arejay Hale, Halestorm has been hailed an incendiary new force in modern hard rock.  Debut album “Halestorm” made a top 5 debut on SoundScan’s “Hard Music” chart upon its 2009 release, simultaneously bursting into the top 40 on the Billboard 200.   The album subsequently sold more than 300,000 copies in the USA and half a million cumulative tracks.  Produced by Howard Benson, the album earned extensive acclaim for its infectious hard rock anthems, sexy hooks, and rough-and-tumble grooves.

The new album will be titled  “The Strange Case Of…” and is heralded by the electrifying new single, “Love Bites (So Do I)”.  The single – as well as three other highlights from “The Strange Case Of…” – will be featured on Halestorm’s forthcoming EP, “Hello, It’s Mz. Hyde” which will be available in the UK from February 5 at all leading digital retailers. The track listing will be:

Working again with producer Howard Benson, “The Strange Case Of…” was recently named among Revolver’s “Most Anticipated Albums Of The Year.”  “Led by one of our favorite rocker babes, singer-guitarist Lzzy Hale, (Halestorm) promise a more personal album for their follow-up’ the magazine noted.  “But don’t expect them to get all sappy on us.  There should still be more than enough of the band’s now signature raucous attitude and righteous riffs for any headbanger to get off.”

True road warriors, Halestorm honed their chops via countless North American gigs with the likes of Shinedown, Avenged Sevenfold, andDisturbed.  Last year also saw the band travelling the country on the blockbuster “Avalanche Tour 2011,” joining such hard rock luminaries asStone Sour. Not one to rest on her laurels when the band snatched some time off the road though, you can hear backing vocals from Lzzy on the new Black Stone Cherry album ‘Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea’ (on the tracks ‘Such A Shame’ and ‘Won’t Let Go’) and Mike Portnoy’s Adrenaline Mob album ‘Omertá’ (on ‘Come Down’).

“The Strange Case Of…” marks Halestorm’s first release since last year’s “ReAniMate: The CoVeRs eP,” which saw the band putting their unique stamp on a diverse collection of classic songs, including tracks by Guns N’ Roses, The Beatles, Heart, Temple Of The Dog, Skid Row, and Lady Gaga.   Halestorm also unleashed their first live CD/DVD, “Live In Philly 2010,” featuring such tracks from their debut as “It’s Not You,” “Familiar Taste Of Poison,” and the rock smash “I Get Off.”

Lostprophets have announced the release of their brand new album ‘Weapons’ and their first headline UK tour in two years. The new album is released on April 2nd and is followed by a 14 date tour of the UK and Ireland culminating with a show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

It’s been two years since the Welsh sextet released their fourth studio album, ‘The Betrayed’ (January 2010). Two very hectic years. After triumphant tours across the UK and Europe on which they played in front of tens of thousands of people, Kerrang! Magazine bestowed the prestigious ‘Classic Songwriters Award’ on the band, and it was time for Lostprophets to remind the world just how deserved that honour was.

Before the writing and recording process for fifth album, ‘Weapons’, could begin, 2010 needed to be closed out with a series of big experiences. As has become the norm, Lostprophets wowed the massive Reading and Leeds main stage crowd. They then went on to steal the show at Belfast’s Belsonic Festival and about a month later, were asked to participate in the opening ceremony for the Ryder Cup at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

Immediately following the Ryder Cup festivities, the band decamped to a private home in Norfolk for an initial round of writing. After Norfolk, Lostprophets moved back to the more familiar turf of Los Angeles to work on developing their existing ideas and creating even more monstrous ones. Studio work began in February 2011 at LA’s NRG Studios. Now, as 2012 kicks off, the band is ready to share their work with the world.

Lostprophets is a band whose members have known each other since their school days in Pontypridd, South Wales, a group that were friends long before they became band mates and colleagues. Through their four previous albums – 2000’s ‘fakesoundofprogress’, 2004’s ‘Start Something’, 2006’s number one ‘Liberation Transmission’ and last year’s ‘The Betrayed’ – the sextet have risen from the clubs of England to the stages of Wembley and other impressive arenas. Almost by stealth, the band have grown, both in songwriting and success, stacking up a dozen or so top 40 singles and selling over 2 million albums worldwide. They have become one of the UK’s biggest rock bands without compromise or flirting with musical fashions, instead choosing to stick with what they believe in and constantly striving to do better, more creatively challenging things.
